About the Role
This role will be responsible for research and teaching in Cyber Security. You will be expected to manage and teach existing modules on our Cyber Master Programme (https: // www. cranfield.ac.uk/courses/taught/cyber-defence-and- information-assurance). You will have a significant impact on the shape and future direction of our high-quality teaching, research and consultancy at postgraduate level. You will plan and carry out research and analysis in a specific field of Cyber Security, contributing to the advancement of the discipline. You will demonstrate and maintain research activity of a high reputation in the UK and abroad and develop original research appropriate to Cyber Security.
About You
You will have a PhD (or nearing completion) in an appropriate field such as Cyber Security, with Associate Fellowship of the Higher Education Authority (or willingness to work towards it). Experience of publishing in peer- reviewed journals, lecturing, assessing, and supervising student dissertations and projects at Masters level is essential.
You will have knowledge and experience with the technical cybersecurity challenges in the ICS / SCADA / CNI domains, Incident Management and the modelling and analysis of attacks.
Additionally, for a Senior Lecturer you will have extensive professional experience with a substantial reputation in your research field. You will have experience of significant contributions to research and teaching.
