We were also named University of the Year for Student Experience and Teaching Quality in The Times and The Sunday Times Good University Guide 2023, being described by the editor as “regularly among the top-performing universities” and proving that “it is possible for a London-based institution to achieve outstanding levels of student satisfaction beyond other universities”.

University status awarded in or after 1992

The College

An opportunity has arisen for a dynamic, innovative adult nursing educator to join our team of dedicated academics to support the delivery of courses in nursing and healthcare at UG and PG level. In particular we are interested in applicants with a strong interest in community nursing, leadership, public health and/or biosciences.

The academic team, together with the support of administrative and technical staff, deliver programmes to student nurses, nursing associate and post registration nursing students across our London and Reading campuses. Essential to this position will be the ability to develop and maintain excellent relationships with healthcare providers in Berkshire, North Hampshire, Surrey, and West London.

The Person

The successful candidate will have knowledge and clinical experience in the specialist area of adult nursing. An excellent appreciation of the NMC (2018) Future Nurse: Standards of Proficiency for Registered Nurses is essential. Candidates should demonstrate effective interpersonal and communication skills to work collaboratively with students, other academics, clinical practitioners, and with our support and technical staff. You will be expected to assist in the development and delivery of learning materials that are relevant, evidence-based and current, in order to maintain the high quality of learning and teaching associated with the college.
