About the position
La Trobe University's Department of Politics, Media and Philosophy seeks to appoint a Lecturer in Media and Communication. This teaching-focussed position is designed to help deliver the full Media and Communication curriculum as a back-fill for staff members on Long Service Leave and secondment. The successful applicant will contribute to excellence in teaching and learning across the Media and Communication curriculum, including teaching core subjects in the Journalism major in the Bachelor of Media and Communication degree. At the end of the six month period, the successful applicant may be eligible to apply for a continuing full-time, teaching-focused Level B position in Media and Communication.
