  • About the Role We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Lecturer or Senior Lecturer in Marketing to join our esteemed Department of Management and Marketing. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and delivering engaging lectures, tutorials, and workshops, as well as assessing students in the relevant business discipline, both on campus and online.

    Responsibilities of this role will include developing and supporting academic programs, collaborating with the academic team to implement program changes and innovations. As a Lecturer/Senior Lecturer you will also mentor and counsel students on academic matters and may supervise honours, master's, and PhD students.

    A key aspect of this position is contributing to the School's research output, income, and impact. You will be expected to undertake administrative tasks associated with your teaching duties and participate in the overall management and administration of the School. Additionally, you will engage in activities that strengthen and expand existing partnerships with government, businesses, communities, and professional organizations both in Australia and internationally.

    The Lecturer in Marketing position is situated within the Department of Management and Marketing, which is committed to delivering high-quality personalized education and fostering a robust research culture that includes international collaboration, competitive grants, and high-quality publications.

    About You To be suitable for this role you will need to have experience in the below key accountabilities:

  • Experience in undertaking teaching, associated administrative duties, coordination and curriculum development at both the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. In particular, strong teaching outcomes in a relevant business discipline
  • Demonstrated excellence in and commitment to innovative education, including blended learning formats, online teaching and the use of case studies, role-plays and/or simulations in the learning environment
  • Demonstrated academic leadership ability
  • Demonstrated excellence in and commitment to research in the university context, a capacity in the use of a variety of research methods and a track record of publishing in discipline relevant quality academic journals and conducting impactful research

    Qualifications An earned doctoral qualification in the relevant discipline or a related field
