UCC wishes to appoint a Lecturer in Sustainable Food Entrepreneurship and Innovation. This position within Cork University Business School (CUBS) is being filled as part of UCC Futures - Food, an ambitious programme of research prioritisation requiring experts from multiple disciplines and sectors to collaborate in new and reimagined ways.
CUBS is one of Ireland's largest business schools with almost 4,000 students and over 180 staff. Double accredited by AMBA and AACSB and a PRME Champion, CUBS is in the top 5% of business schools globally. As a research-intensive school, the vision of CUBS is to shape leaders for a sustainable future through focusing on quality research and education.
Candidates will have a track record of research aligned with school's vision and UCC Futures - Food and evidenced through publications in refereed journals of international standing (publications in the 3 and 4 star ranked journals by the Chartered Association of Business Schools will be preferred). Candidates will also demonstrate their experience and/or potential in delivering high quality teaching across undergraduate and postgraduate levels in areas such as sustainable food entrepreneurship and innovation, consumer behaviour, new product development and food supply chain analysis are invited to apply.
The successful applicant will be supported in embedding and enhancing their research activities, with a particular focus on the acquisition of funding through the European Research Council programme.

Appointment may be made on the Lecturer Below the Bar Salary Scale: €38,662 - €67,426 (Scale B) / €40,689 – €64,159 (Scale A)
Salary placement on appointment will be in accordance with public sector pay policy.
