We now invite applications for appointment as Lecturer in Speech-Language Pathology (2 posts) in the Faculty of Education
Duties and Responsibilities
The appointees will be responsible for enhancing the clinical education curriculum of the Bachelor of Science in Speech-Language Pathology programme. They will take up substantial clinical education and course teaching responsibilities in the programme, and also leadership responsibilities in administration and clinical curriculum development as appropriate.
Essential Requirements
Applicants should possess a Master's degree or above, a recognized professional qualification in Speech Therapy, and at least 8 years' post- qualification clinical experience as a speech therapist. They should have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Cantonese), as well as good communication and interpersonal skills. Applicants with (i) a strong track record of clinical education in speech- language pathology, (ii) experience in developing and implementing innovations in clinical education, (iii) experience in cross-organization collaborations, and (iv) expertise in one or more of the following areas: pediatric, developmental, school-age, acquired speech, language, and communication disorders across settings would be preferred.

The appointment will be made on fixed-term contract for 2 years, to commence on June 1, 2025 or as soon as possible thereafter, with the possibility of renewal.
