POSITION SUMMARY
We seek an experienced Lecturer to help grow the public relations strand against the exciting background of Vietnam's rapidly growing economy. In response to sector trends, input from industry partners and as a result of a recent program review, we are particularly interested in applicants with up- to-date experience including any combination of social network strategy, SEO, metrics/analytics, content marketing, influence and/or other related specialisations. Skills in content creation for online/mobile/social will also be considered favourably. A strong understanding of the cultural context of communication and sensitivity to contemporary communication challenges - including social responsibility, ethics and accountability - will also be considered.

To be eligible to be considered for the Lecturer role you will need to be able to evidence to date, a strong and consistent background in relevant international research with a strong publications' portfolio. Demonstrated ability to supervise higher-degree research candidates. Ability to build effective networks with colleagues and generate alternative funding projects through effective liaison with industry and government.
As an expatriate candidate you will require a work permit to be employed in Vietnam. To qualify for a work permit you will need a PhD qualification and you will need to be able to demonstrate at least 3 years of teaching across relevant subjects in a tertiary education environment.
