Specific Purpose Whole Time Post

(anticipated duration to May 2025)

UCC wishes to appoint an experienced academic to the above role. In accordance with the University's strategic objective as a research-led institution, the duties of all academic staff will include research, research-led teaching and contributions to the university, the discipline and the community. The Lecturer in Occupational Health shall engage in teaching and examining with a focus on the online MSc Occupational Health course, establish and maintain a competitive Occupational Health research programme and carry out administrative duties and other duties appropriate to the post under the direction of the Head of the School of Public Health.

Appointment may be made on the Lecturer Above the Bar Salary Scale: €73,691- €95,434 (Scale B) / €70,111- €90,661 (Scale A)

Salary placement on appointment will be in accordance with public sector pay policy.
