The School of Food Science and Nutrition is the oldest such university department in the UK, and is continuing to grow its staff numbers, expanding its academic capability in nutritional science, with the aim of providing mechanistic evidence of the role of food components and diets on health and well-being. We are seeking to appoint a lecturer in the area of diet and nutrition influencing behaviour, mental health and cognition to deliver excellent research and inspirational teaching and supervision, and invite applications from outstanding academics of high potential who are able to demonstrate a growing track record in research, student education and academic leadership.
