  • About the Role

    The Lecturer in Nursing is primarily focussed on the delivery of courses within the Academic Unit's undergraduate and postgraduate programs. It will work with guidance and direction from other academic staff and undertake duties with increasing autonomy as the staff member gains skills and experience. The position will contribute independently and as part of a team to support the teaching outcomes and to carry out activities to maintain and develop their scholarly and professional activities.

    Essential Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor of Nursing and a Masters degree qualification in a relevant health discipline
  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse, with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia
  • Demonstrated contribution to the profession and discipline of nursing
  • Demonstrated clinical experience/expertise and understanding of global and national policies and priorities in health and nursing practice
  • Demonstrated ability to actively engage and educate a student group
