  • About the Role

    You will be responsible for developing, delivering, and coordinating courses within the Academic Unit's undergraduate and postgraduate programs in Management disciplines, including general management, international business, and human resource management. Additionally, you will contribute to curriculum development and the continuous improvement of teaching practices across the Academic Unit.

    Core Responsibilities

  • Maintaining the quality of Unit courses through course review and development
  • Investigate and develop innovative teaching methods and the initiation and development of high-quality materials to support student learning and engagement
  • Providing academic counselling and advice to students in a professional and timely manner
  • Support the Academic Unit's and University's teaching and learning initiatives in ways that will enhance the student experience
  • Contribute to scholarly activity, independently and/or as a member of a team, which enhances scholarly teaching practice and maintains currency with the discipline/profession
  • Essential Skills and Experience

  • Relevant doctoral degree/studies or a postgraduate qualification (at least one level higher than the program taught) and professional experience
  • Skills in contemporary teaching, learning and assessment with a demonstrated ability to undertake teaching duties including the design and preparation of teaching activities and resources
  • Current and relevant knowledge of developments in the discipline informed by continuing scholarship and/or continuing industry engagement
  • High level written and oral communication skills including demonstrated ability to effectively collaborate with team members, external parties and colleagues
