Job description

Faculty of Environment, Science & Economy

The Department of Economics at the University of Exeter Business School is seeking to recruit a fixed term Lecturer E &S.

This will be available on a two-year fixed term contract.

Main purpose of the job:

You will contribute to teaching in one or more of the disciplinary areas in the department, supervise student projects and dissertations and develop, implement, and promote innovative teaching practices. You should be an independent, pro-active, and energetic person with a passion for education and teaching. You are expected to contribute to the ‘public good' by taking part and help organize department events, work collaboratively with others to find solutions to specific academic issues and liaise with student bodies whenever necessary. The majority of your time will be spent on teaching related activities, but you will have time to pursue your own research.

Candidates should have a Ph.D. already in hand or firmly expected by August 2024 and should show evidence or promise of significant scholarship.
