Are you an academic with proven abilities to carry out teaching and scholarship activities in the discipline of cultural and creative industries? Can you pursue, develop and take forward pedagogic developments?
As a Lecturer in Cultural and Creative Industries, you will carry out scholarship, teaching and management within the School, Faculty and University and contribute to academic leadership in the field. You will have expertise in the cultural and creative industries subject area and will contribute to the teaching of courses such as BA Global Performance and Creative industries and MA Culture Creativity and Entrepreneurship. Desirable specialisms might include aspects of enterprise, entrepreneurship, leadership and/or management within or across the cultural and creative industries, and may speak to the global nature of these sectors.
You will provide effective and innovative research-based teaching across the School including on our sector-leading and innovative programmes in Global Creative Industries, Culture, Creativity and Entrepreneurship and Global Performance and Cultural Industries. You will contribute to undergraduate and postgraduate modules, including lecturing, seminar delivery, dissertation supervision and assessment.
With relevant research and teaching experience and a PhD in a related field or equivalent relevant industry experience, you will have the ability to make an outstanding contribution to the School and you will be committed to delivering an exceptional student experience.
