We are seeking to appoint a Lecturer with a strong alignment to Computer Systems Engineering to provide excellent postgraduate research supervision and deliver high-quality teaching. We are looking for outstanding researchers to enhance our research, join an expanding and ambitious department, and to shape the technology of the future in a vibrant and inclusive environment.
The Department is making several strategic investments in computer systems engineering, digital electronics, and artificial intelligence and this role is at the very heart of our ambition to grow on our existing capability.
The Faculty of Engineering & Design is home to six unique research centres and it is envisaged that the successful candidate will be able to demonstrate strong alignment to at least one of these centres.
About youYou will have track record in applied computing systems engineering and teaching, with the potential to develop a research portfolio. In particular, you should ideally have experience (or potential) in research encompassing computer systems.
You will hold a PhD and an undergraduate degree in Electronic and Electrical Engineering or a closely related subject. Through your research and teaching, you will be passionate about addressing the global challenges and educating the next generation of electronic and electrical engineers.
