We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time Lecturer role within the School of Creative and Digital Industries and based within the ‘Computing' team. This role would suit an enthusiastic and suitably experienced candidate, keen to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high quality education to learners across a portfolio of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. Teaching is currently largely face-to-face but we are looking to grow some online provision.
For this role, you will be expected to be involved in teaching on modules and courses with significant programming and coding content. You will then have expertise relevant to some of the following subject areas:
- Computer science and artificial intelligence
- Programming and software engineering
- Web development and mobile technologies
- Databases and data science
- Computer systems, networks and security

Research and Knowledge Exchange:
Conduct research and scholarly activity, clearly plan to generate income and align own research with teaching and learning
Engage with relevant business and professional networks to promote teaching and learning and research in a professional context
Engage in doctoral supervision
Contribute to knowledge through refereed conference outputs and peer- reviewed (non-conference) outputs
Embed research within teaching and curriculum and contribute to research impact
