    The Opportunity

    Join our team at Monash Rural Health Churchill as we seek a dynamic Lecturer in Clinical Skills and Medical Education. In this role, you'll play a pivotal part in developing and enhancing our Year A clinical skills teaching program.

    This position plays a crucial role in program administration, preparing teaching materials and assessments, and integrating simulation into clinical skills education. Specifically, it involves crafting questions for written examinations and organising practical examinations throughout the year.

    Specific responsibilities encompass conducting tutorials, practical classes, clinical application sessions, demonstrations, workshops, and small group sessions. Additionally, this position will also assist in the initiation and development of subject material for clinical skills teaching and assessment, program administration, monitoring equipment needs and coordinating tutors for clinical skills teaching on campus. The candidate must be available to work on-site at Churchill on Thursdays.

    We are looking for a candidate with medical qualifications (i.e. MBBS or MD) recognised in Australia, coupled with significant clinical experience and holds current medical registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). Applicants must also have a Fellowship or are working towards one, from a recognised Australian College (i.e. RACGP, FACP, etc).
