UCC wishes to appoint an academic to the role of Lecturer in Anatomy and Neuroscience. Reporting to the Head of Department of Anatomy and Neuroscience, the successful candidate will be expected to develop a high- quality, impactful, and internationally competitive programme of research in the Department as part of UCC Futures, Future Ageing and Brain Sciences (https: // www. ucc.ie/en/futures/ageingandbrainscience/). Additionally, the candidate will be primarily involved in teaching, supervision and coordination on the BSc in Neuroscience, the MSc in Human Anatomy and other programmes in the Department of Anatomy and Neuroscience, and in the supervision of research students.

Appointment may be made on the Lectureship Salary Scale: Above the Bar €76,102- €98,557 (Scale B) / €73,130 - €94,564 (Scale A) or Below the Bar €40,685 - €70,328 (Scale B) / €42,732- €66,921 (Scale A)
Salary placement on appointment will be in accordance with public sector pay policy.
