Description
Department/Unit: Physical Education Unit Closing date: Until the position is filled
For Lecturer, applicants should have (i) preferably a relevant doctoral degree/terminal degree with teaching/professional experience; or (ii) a relevant Master's degree plus at least 4 years' post-Master teaching/professional experience.
For Assistant Lecturer, applicants should have a relevant Master's degree.
Applicants should have relevant experience in (i) teaching and coaching at secondary school or university level, (ii) organizing sports activities; and (iii) handling physical education administrative duties.
The appointee will (a) teach physical education courses for full-time undergraduate and international students (including tennis, badminton, physical conditioning, basketball, volleyball, track & field, swimming, handball, soccer, table tennis, squash, etc.); and (b) undertake teaching and coaching during term time and summer months.
Appointment will initially be made on contract basis for up to two years, renewable subject to performance and mutual agreement.
