Lecturer / Assistant Lecturer (Chinese)
The School of Continuing and Professional Studies (CUSCS), founded in 1965, is a self-financing extension unit of the University with its mission to provide quality lifelong education to the community of all ages. The School offers a wide variety of full-time and part-time post-secondary, professional and continuing education programmes, general courses and corporate training courses in diversified disciplines. CUSCS now invites applications for the post of Lecturer / Assistant Lecturer to provide support in teaching and programme quality assurance support to related Higher Diploma programmes, Diploma programmes as well as Professional and Continuing Education Programmes.
Applicants should possess (i) a Master's degree in Chinese Language, Chinese Professional Communication or related disciplines; (ii) at least 4 years' post-Master teaching / professional experience at tertiary level; (iii) substantial experience in programme curriculum design, review and development; and (iv) good connections with related industries. Applicants with less experience but have at least 2 years' post-Master teaching experience may be considered for appointment at Assistant Lecturer rank.
Appointment will initially be made on a contract basis for up to two years (with contract-end gratuity for a 2-year contract), renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
