The Department of Engineering Education ( DEE) at the University at Buffalo (UB) invites candidates to apply for the position of Director of the online BS in Engineering Science (BS ES) Program and Assistant Professor of Teaching (a non-tenure track lecturer position). DEE faculty and graduate students advance modern pedagogical tools and teaching methods, including the field of online education. At the undergraduate level, the department offers a variety of engineering and applied science courses including technical communication, engineering computations, statics, and dynamics. We are looking for candidates who can operate effectively in a team environment, thrive in a diverse community of students and faculty, and share our vision of helping all constituents reach their full potential.
DEE offers a BS ES degree that is delivered in both online and in-person modalities. The focus of this position is the online degree.

In addition to effective teachers, the Department of Engineering Education seeks teacher-scholars who can contribute to new programmatic initiatives and teaching practices. Participation in teaching innovative research is encouraged.
