  • About the Role As a Learning Designer in the Centre for Digital Transformation of Health, you will bring creativity and innovation in learning design to complex subject matter and produce engaging learning materials for a national training program. Reporting to the Digital Health Education and Workforce Development Lead, you will play a key role in developing and delivering this high-profile program that addresses a critical national workforce priority in the health IT industry.

    Your responsibilities will include:

  • Lead iterative design and development, collaborating with subject matter experts to produce high-quality in person and on line professional development programs.
  • Document course designs and support instructors in delivering engaging online content.
  • Contribute to building capability in the Centre for more efficient and consistent online course design and development.
  • Contribute to the evaluation of training programs, for ongoing improvement of content and course delivery.
  • Who We Are Looking For You demonstrate creativity and innovation in your approach to learning design, and have exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail. You excel in collaborative environments, working with diverse stakeholders across multiple organisations to achieve shared objectives.

    You will also have:

  • An appropriate tertiary qualification with substantial relevant experience or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
  • Demonstrated experience in applied educational design for curriculum- based, high quality online learning resources, with a preference for experience with adult learners undertaking professional development in technical skills.
  • Proven ability to use effective educational design frameworks based on established models to align learning objectives, tasks, and assessment.
  • Demonstrated experience working with, and designing for, enterprise learning management systems and online learning environments.

    This position requires the incumbent to hold a current and valid Working with Children Check to ensure the University provides a safe environment for everyone.
