    About the Role

    Reporting to the Professor of Physiology, you will play a key role in supporting the Early Origins of Adult Health Research Group. Your responsibilities will include performing molecular assays, assisting with animal-based research projects, maintaining laboratory equipment, and adherence to safety and ethical standards. Additionally, you will manage laboratory consumables and provide support to researchers.

    Essential Skills and Experience

  • A post-secondary qualification in a relevant field and experience in research laboratory work including general laboratory maintenance or demonstrated experience in research laboratory work including general laboratory maintenance
  • Demonstrated experience working with animals in a research capacity
  • Demonstrated skills in molecular techniques and molecular assays
  • Experience in data acquisition and analysis
  • Demonstrated experience in ensuring a safe working environment in compliance with Work Health and Safety guidelines inherent to laboratory and research activities
