Laboratory Manager (at the rank of Technical Manager) in the School of Biomedical Sciences (Ref.: 526235) (to commence as soon as possible, on a three-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)
Applicants should possess a Master's degree or above in Biomedical Sciences or a related discipline, with at least 3 years' post-qualification work experience in laboratory management. Knowledge of biosafety and experience in handling chemical licenses would be highly preferred. Experience with transgenic animals (especially ice), virus preparation, mentoring undergraduate and postgraduate students, and a good track record of scientific publications would be an asset. Applicants should have an excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua). They should be organized, responsible, detail-minded, self-motivated, and able to work independently as well as in a multidisciplinary team.
