Laboratory Assistant in the Division of Public Health Laboratory Sciences, School of Public Health (Ref.: 531260) (to commence as soon as possible, on a one-year temporary basis or a two-year fixed term basis, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)
Applicants should have completed Secondary 6 or above, with working experience in a research laboratory. They should have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, and able to work independently as well as in a team.
The appointee will assist in the operation of research laboratory, which includes blood sample handling, record keeping and storage, specimens labeling, transport and storage of field samples prior to laboratory testing, and perform other duties as assigned. A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits. The appointment on fixed terms will attract a contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme totalling up to 10% of basic salary.
