IT Technician/Senior IT Assistant in the Department of Medicine, School of Clinical Medicine (Ref.: 526075) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)

Applicants should possess a Bachelor's degree or above in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline, with at least 1 year's relevant experience. They should have reasonable proficiency in various operating system environments such as Windows and MacOS; and knowledge of Office applications, Zoom and Learning Management System and Digital Assessment System like Moodle and Inspera. Competency in troubleshooting and maintenance of computers and audio-visual equipment would be an advantage. Fresh graduates or those with lower qualifications may be considered for appointment as Senior IT Assistant.

The appointee will provide end-user support for daily operations and maintenance of computing and AV facilities; assist in conducting computer installations, IT procurement, and administering IT asset inventories; and perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned. On-the-job training will be provided. Working outside normal office hours and on weekends may be required. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend an interview.
