Based in Information Strategy and Technology Services at the Mawson Lakes campus
About the Role
Reporting to the Manager: Corporate Information Systems, you are involved in all stages of the system implementation process which includes working with key stakeholders to gather and define user requirements, prototyping solutions, formulating designs, creating user acceptance plans and be involved in all stages of testing as well as implementing and supporting systems.
You will perform complex system maintenance functions, including the application of security policies, software and infrastructure upgrades, and problem investigation and resolution.
About Information Strategy and Technology Services (ISTS)
ISTS has the primary strategic and operational responsibility for the provision of the UniSA's considerable IT infrastructure and services, with approximately 150 staff in 9 key areas.
ISTS is customer focused and operates a service management framework based on AS8018 and provides seamless 24 x 7 x 52 service to students and staff. ISTS has a commitment to staff development and provides a professional environment in which to work.
The University's IT Administration teams ensure the effective and efficient support of specific information technology solutions using a variety of technologies.
Excellent interpersonal skills are essential to gather information and an understanding of the use and requirements of business systems. This, together with the technical skills to investigate, diagnose and resolve support issues are key components of this support role in the team.
