IRB Coordinator & Doctoral Office Assistant - Missouri Baptist University (Mobap)

Missouri Baptist University is looking to hire a IRB Coordinator & Doctoral Office Assistant.  This is a part-time position working approximately 25 hours per week. The IRB Coordinator & Doctoral Office Assistant supports the academic functions within the Doctor of Education Program and the Institutional Review Board (IRB). This role involves coordinating IRB meetings, maintaining compliance records, assisting in doctoral student processes, and providing organizational support to enhance the operational efficiency of the department.

Essential Responsibilities

Administrative Support: Update Ed.D. documents, maintain databases, assist with special projects.

IRB Coordination: Manage IRB documentation and communications with committee members, faculty, and students, maintain up to date website resources, update and track human subjects research training compliance, attend IRB monthly meetings and record minutes, keep accurate records of meetings, attendance, and decisions for the committee’s end of year report. 

Dissertation Support: Facilitate paperwork for electronic signatures, complete reference checks, assist in final dissertation reviews.

Orientation & Residency: Arrange refreshments and materials for attendees, assist with event preparations, attend and provide support as needed during events

Stipends and Communication: Process and track honorarium forms, manage committee communications.

Registration: Manage and archive registration forms within the student database

Minimum Education/Experience

Associate Degree and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Preferred Education/Experience

Bachelor’s degree and prior academic experience in a college setting.
