Job Purpose
Work directly with the Head of International Stakeholder Engagement to support the, management and implementation of new and existing partnerships delivering student recruitment pathways into the University of Glasgow.
Develop clear lines of communication with external stakeholders such as agents, schools and high school counsellors and ensure consistency across all regions.
Support the delivery of institutional internationalisation strategic objectives. Provide a friendly and efficient service to international students and visitors.
Main Duties
1. Assist with the operational management of the University's student international recruitment stakeholders such as education agents, high school counsellors, sponsors and study abroad partners. Including developing and maintaining databases to record key contact information, ensuring partner, agent and stakeholder contact details are up to date, record contract renewal dates and monitor processes and assess the performance of the University's student recruitment/articulation partnerships and study abroad networks.
2. Support the development of and lead on the implementation of a University of Glasgow student recruitment agent engagement strategy ensuring sector best practice and delivery against the Agent Quality Framework. Create action plans, create and streamline appropriate database and spreadsheet tools to record information to aid the monitoring of performance. Professionally and confidently communicate with senior stakeholders, agents and sponsors.
3. Design and deliver an enhanced portfolio of agent training and engagement materials. To ensure agent training is aligned to the standards outlined within the Agent Quality Framework.
4. Support the International Recruitment team in managing the agent network through the production and dissemination of regular reporting and analysis of agent performance.
5. Act as the main point of contact for agents with global contracts and to manage the University's relationship with digital recruitment partners.
6. Create and deliver robust annual communication and engagement plans for international stakeholders to support recruitment activity. This will include working with colleagues across RAIR, ER and the Colleges to produce engaging content for newsletters tailored to the needs of different stakeholder groups.
7. Support the delivery of on campus events for international stakeholders including, but not limited to, agents, high school counsellors and study abroad partners through extensive logistical management. Dedicated point of contact to proactively liaise with student ambassadors and University colleagues. Specific duties include liaising with external suppliers, event and room bookings, hospitality bookings, transport arrangements, co-ordinating staff and student assistance and any other related items for events as appropriate.
8. Work with the Scholarships team as lead coordinator and planner to organise and deliver the annual International Scholarships and Sponsor Reception.
9. Ensure webpages for the UofG network of recruitment agents and high school counsellors are updated regularly, reviewing content to ensure information is relevant and engaging.
10. Co-ordinate and provide administrative support and clerk to the UofG International High School Counsellor Advisory Board.
11. Work with regional RAIR colleagues to ensure University recruitment and study abroad partners are supported through attendance at key events and through the development of partner specific communications.
12. Proactively work alongside colleagues across the University to ensure the admissions and reporting processes for students joining University of Glasgow from recruitment/articulation partners are streamlined and easily identifiable.
13. Monitor and record recruitment partner contracts and flag to relevant colleagues when these are due for renewal.
14. Undertake other duties as assigned by the management team.

Knowledge
Essential:
A1 Ability to demonstrate the competencies required to undertake the duties associated with this level of post having acquired the necessary knowledge and skills through personal development and progression in a similar related role(s), or Scottish Credit and Qualification Framework level 8 (Scottish Vocational Qualification level 4, Higher National Diploma) or equivalent, and experience of personal development in a similar role.
A2 Knowledge of the UK Agent Quality Framework.
A3 Detailed knowledge of databases, Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook and web-based research.

Desirable:
F1 Experience of working with international students and/or staff.
F2 Experience working in higher education e.g. in a student recruitment/marketing office.
F3 Experience of international travel.
Terms and Conditions
Salary will be Grade 6, £33,232 - £36,924 per annum.
This post is full time (35 hours per week), and open ended.
