The International Compliance Assistant will be working in the very successful and dynamic International Office as a pivotal part of the busy International Visa Advice and Compliance team. You will perform a variety of duties to help ensure the University meets the criteria to retain UK Visas and Immigration Student sponsor status. You will help ensure all students who are registered at the University hold valid leave to be in the UK as a student at the University of Bedfordshire. You will identify and report changes in student circumstances to the UKVI (UK Visas and Immigration) and advise students with regards to these changes and reporting implications.
You will be required to demonstrate administrative experience including electronic and paper-based record keeping as well as analysing data on spreadsheets. You will be accurate and pay attention to detail. You will also demonstrate excellent customer and communication skills, a pro-active and positive attitude, flexibility, enthusiasm and the ability to work as part of a team. You will have the ability to retain and understand a broad and detailed knowledge base of complex information and policies.
