The Race Equality Charter (REC) aims to improve representation, experiences, progression, and success of minority ethnic people in Higher Education. Aston University holds a Bronze Award, signalling our commitment to an inclusive culture that respects and celebrates the diversity of our staff and student community.
The REC- Self Assessment Team (REC-SAT) plays a critical role in the design, implementation, and evaluation of actions aligned to race equality objectives. Expressions of interest are invited for the role of Co-Chair of the REC-SAT. More information about the role can be found attached.
Together the REC Co-Chairs will use a combination of collaboration, influencing, and leadership skills to oversee a programme of activity aligned to the Inclusive Aston vision- fostering an environment in which individuals can operate at all levels regardless of their personal circumstances.
