Job Title Instructor - Part Time (French Applicant Pool)

Job Summary Classroom Instructor Job Duties Required Qualifications A Master's degree in any world language or Master's degree in any other discipline with a minimum of 18 graduate hours in French or any other world language related-curriculum, and experience (multiple courses) teaching any world language at the postsecondary level.

Will consider a Bachelor's degree in any world language, or in any other discipline with a minimum of 18 graduate credit hours in French or other world language-related curriculum, and experience (multiple courses) teaching at the postsecondary level. Preferred Qualifications Two (2) years college level teaching experience.   • Writing Skills: Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, and governmental regulations.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from prospective and current employees, and groups of managers.
  • Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
  • Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

  • Office Environment: This role may involve being in a stationary position in front of a computer, using a keyboard, mouse (or applicable equipment) and telephone. This role may also involve standing and walking for periods of time, and the use of hands and moving objects on occasion, of up to 10 lbs.
  • Noise Level: The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
