The Dean of the Faculty of Medicine of Masaryk University appoints a selection
procedure
for the position of instructo r of the Department of Optometry and
Orthoptics
(with shorter working hours, 8 hours per week)
The Department of Optometry and Orthoptics is an educational and research
department of the Faculty of Medicine, providing education of non-medical
programmes, specifically bachelor's studies Optics and Optometry, Otrhoptics
and master's study Optometry.

Required qualification :
Completed university education in the field of Optometry, or equivalent
education attained abroad
Teaching experience in orthoptics welcome
Interest in fields of orthoptics (compleated training within the field
welcome)
Minimum 10 years of experience in orthoptics
Fluent Czech (spoken and written)
Ability of independent pedagogical and scientific work, including
publishing activity
Interest in enrollment in doctoral studies is welcome
Good knowledge of MS Office
Active approach, initiative and willingness to further education
Ability to actively participate in domestic and international conferences
Moral integrity
