Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and creative Instructional Designer to join our team at YU Global. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering engaging and effective instructional materials to support a wide range of learning programs. The Instructional Designer will work closely with subject matter experts and stakeholders to understand the learning objectives and create instructional materials that meet the needs of learners and drive desired outcomes.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Analyze learner and stakeholder needs to determine instructional design requirements.
  • Design and develop instructional materials using a variety of instructional design methodologies and multimedia tools.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholders to ensure instructional materials are aligned with learning objectives and meet the needs of learners.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of instructional materials and make recommendations for improvements.
  • Stay current with best practices in instructional design and technology and share knowledge and expertise with colleagues.
  • Manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines.
  • Be prepared to take an active role in the design process with content experts, exerting preferred learning pedagogies.
  • Experience & Educational Background:

  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Instructional Design, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience as an Instructional Designer, developing instructional materials for a wide range of learners and subject areas.
  • Strong knowledge of instructional design methodologies and multimedia tools.
  • Proven ability to evaluate the effectiveness of instructional materials and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Skills & Competencies:

  • Excellent interpersonal, collaboration, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Must have knowledge and experience in competency based program and course design.
  • Salary Range:

    $80,000-90,000
