Job description

Finance, Infrastructure and Commercial Services – Estate Services

This new full-time post is available immediately on a permanent basis.

Summary of the role

We are seeking a motivated and organised individual to work closely with colleagues across FICS to assist in the delivery of infrastructure related activities and projects to support the activities of the Faculty of Environment, Science and Economy.

The research and teaching delivered within the Faculty requires high quality facilities and services in support their diverse range of activities.

The role requires ability to build strong working relationships with the academics, students and professional services teams. The aim being to ensure that students and staff within the Faculty experience a professional service.

You will work closely with colleagues in Estate Services, Technical Services, Health and Safety and other teams across the University where appropriate to understand best practise and that all related staff are engaged and informed. There will be opportunity to develop skills and potential to contribute to the development of new working processes and practices to improve the service.
