  • About You

    You will thrive in a dynamically changing environment and can adapt quickly to new challenges. Development experience working with cloud-based solutions and a strong understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and ITIL practices would be highly desirable. You will have experience in, or the ability to learn: .NET, C#, CSS, HTML, JavaScript and SQL Databases (MS SQL, Oracle and Postgres).

    About the Role Reporting to the Manager: Learning and Systems with the Information Strategy and Technology Services area, you will contribute to the design, development, implementation and support of the University's teaching, learning, research and corporate systems, applications (including mobile app development) and services. You will contribute to improving the performance of IT functions including system development lifecycle which involves: project planning, feasibility studies, systems analysis, requirements definition, systems design and development, integration and testing, acceptance, implementation and maintenance.

    Information Strategy and Technology Services (ISTS) is responsible for the strategic and operational provision of UniSA's considerable IT infrastructure and services with approximately 150 staff working in a number of key areas.

    Essential Skills and Experience

  • Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent professional information technology experience in a large organisation comparable with the University
  • Significant experience using programming languages, application development tools and databases
  • Significant experience in the design, development and support of software applications and services
  • High level experience in the implementation of system development methodologies, standards, documentation and quality procedures
