About You
You are an experienced, knowledgeable, and adaptable IT professional with experience working in complex and integrated technology environments. You are a technical expert with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, which enable you to partner effectively with diverse business units and stakeholders to develop tailored solutions and successfully deliver IT projects.
About the Role
As the Information Technologist: Developer, you will contribute to the design, development, implementation and support of the University's teaching, learning, student, research and corporate systems, applications, and services. You are integral member of the team that will facilitate the improvement of IT functions and performance, including system development lifecycle which involves project planning, feasibility studies, systems analysis, requirements definition, systems design and development, integration and testing, acceptance, implementation, and maintenance.
About Information Strategy and Technology Services (ISTS)
ISTS is responsible for the strategic and operational provision of UniSA's considerable IT infrastructure and services with approximately 150 staff working in 8 key areas. The University's Learning and Teaching Systems team ensures the effective and efficient delivery of specific information technology solutions using a variety of technologies including: .NET, PHP, Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services, Postgres, Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle. Team Leaders work closely with other ISTS teams and University business unit staff to provide technical advice and assistance related to the architecture and design of learning and teaching systems to ensure business needs are met.
