Within the Biological Resources Unit, we work very closely with research groups in order to deliver award winning science. This close relationship allows our technicians to be an integral part of the discoveries and breakthroughs at the Institute and also provides them unique opportunities to develop a wide range of skills and experiences.
We are open to those new to animal science right through to experienced junior animal technologists.
We promote a strong culture of care both for our staff and the animals under our charge. The successful candidates will work with the 3R's ethos (for reproducible and ethical research, that has open, fair, and inclusive communication with focus on compassion and respect) and be responsible for the care and welfare of small rodent cancer models housed within the facility and help with maintaining a good standard of hygiene.
