Impact and Policy Manager (Fixed Term)

Applications are invited for a full-time Impact and Policy Manager to support the Minderoo Centre for Technology and Democracy (MCTD) hosted within CRASSH (Centre for Research in the Arts, Social Sciences and Humanities). This responsible role involves working with senior staff on developing and implementing and effective impact strategy for the Centre. The role involves convening policy-oriented projects within the Centre, map stakeholders, undertake consultations and analyse date to develop and shape policy about information technologies. The role works to bridge and translate between academic research and decision-makers in government, civil society and industry.

The successful applicant will be educated to degree level in relevant subject/level 6 vocational qualification or equivalent level of practical experience. They will have experience from a broad range of communication disciplines and experience in communicating complex information to a diverse audience and in organising public engagement events and activities.

Fixed term: The funds for this post are available until 28 February 2025 in the first instance.
