How will you contribute?

You will be contributing to the research and development of the software platform for the BESSER project, aimed at building better smart software faster. By smart software we mean software that combines traditional and AI- based components. In particular, you'll be working on the development of new modelling languages and model transformation techniques to facilitate the specification of smart systems with an emphasis in the security aspects of the smart components and their interactions with the “traditional” ones.

A combination of software modelling, machine learning, and LLMs techniques will be used to model the security requirements and to ensure that the ML and LLMs used in the runtime system are tested against malware, injection attacks and other vulnerabilities according to the security requirements.

You will be in charge of:

· Extending the BESSER platform with new languages and other model-driven artefacts that facilitate the specification and generation of secure smart systems.

· Integrate vulnerability detection techniques to test and enhance smart components to be embedded in the smart system (e.g. against malware or injection attacks) to ensure that quality of the runtime smart system

· Participate in research papers and materials presenting and promoting the platform
