How will you contribute?You will be contributing to the research and integration of Large Language Models in the BESSER project, aimed at building better smart software faster. By smart software we mean software that combines traditional and AI-based components.
In particular, you'll be working on the multi-lingual aspects of the platform, making sure that BESSER is able to generate software systems able to work in multiple languages. This is a challenge especially for low-resource languages (i.e. languages that do not have enough data for training and/or aren't well supported in current mainstream LLMs).
A combination of LLM testing (mainly to assess the support of a LLM for a given language, including linguistic and cultural aspects), data synthesis, data modeling and processing, LLM fine-tuning/adaptation, modelling techniques (metamodeling, DSLs, …) will be used.
