This could the role for you as we are seeking an experience Human Resources professional to work with managers and employees working in MQ Health which incorporates Macquarie University Hospital and Clinics.
As the Human Resources Consultant, you would be part of the MQ Health HR Business Partnering team providing advice and support to the dynamic and fast paced clinical services functions as part of the Macquarie University Health strategic pillar.
Reporting to the HR Business Partnering Director, MQ Health Clinical Services, you will work and collaborate closely to support staff and managers in relation to employee relations matters, case management, workforce planning and culture initiatives and engagement. This role will have a particular focus on case management, including in relation to performance management, misconduct and complaints.
This role will also work in close partnership with the Employee Relations team in relation to more complex matters and collaborate with other HR Centres of Expertise (COE) as required, including Remuneration, Capability, Inclusion and Belonging and Talent Acquisition in the delivery of specialised services, and with HR Shared Services to ensure timely and efficient execution of HR transactions.

About the role:
Provide advice and support to managers on employee relations cases within the clinical services area with a focus on early resolution, working with the Employee Relations team on more complex cases as required
Co-ordinate employee relations cases in the clinical services area, draft reports and maintain all records in relations to these cases
Provide advice and support to people leaders on industrial matters including enterprise agreement and award interpretations and case management
Support the HR Business Partnering Director, MQ Health Clinical Services and CoEs, in the development and implementation of HR activities arising from employee relations matters such as process improvement and ongoing workforce strategies.
Contribute to the development and implementation of strategies and projects aimed at improving HR services, procedures and achieving HR and key strategic and operational priorities.
About you:
Experience in case management and supporting people managers in the execution of performance management and misconduct processes
Ability to interpret and advise on a range of industrial instruments, including enterprise agreements and modern awards
Experience working with HR frameworks including job design, remuneration, talent and performance management
Ideally have demonstrated experience delivering HR solutions, advice and support in the healthcare industry
Experience collaborating with specialist HR functions in a COE model, with the ability to build relationships across the HR function to deliver solutions
Experience providing HR partnering in a complex high volume organisational environment to facilitate high quality and timely human resource initiatives;
A bachelor's degree in HR, Management or other relevant discipline and/or relevant equivalent experience
