  • Position Summary
  • One temporary hourly-intermittent student assistant position in Human Resources.

  • Start Date

  • Position available on or after August 7, 2023 and ending on or before May 31, 2024. Possibility of reappointment based on budget, department needs, and job performance.

  • Job Description/Duties

  • Duties include but are not limited to:
  • Supports the preparation and coordination of training sessions, meetings, and campus demonstrations.
  • Support training session sign-ups and assessment survey collection.
  • Assist in the documentation of business processes and procedures.
  • Support change management, training and communication activities including administrative support and event planning related tasks; submit communication requests for StanNews and campus one-off emails; submit and coordinate room reservations and catering requests for meetings, demonstrations and training sessions.
  • Participate and assist in scheduling project related meetings; prepare agendas, record minutes, track and report action items.
  • Support and assist with implementation and conversion activities.
  • Provide first level CHRS customer service support; answer questions and provide resources to assist with troubleshooting.
  • Assist with maintenance of the CHRS website as well as other HR website pages impacted by CHRS.
  • Other duties as assigned.

     Qualifications
    

     Preferred Qualifications: 
     Demonstrates previous office experience.
     Demonstrates the ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and discretion.
     Demonstrates a familiarity/fluency with Microsoft Outlook (email and calendars), Word, Excel, Teams and SharePoint.
     Demonstrates the ability to closely follow written and verbal instructions.
     Demonstrates the ability to use good English grammar, spelling, punctuation.
     Demonstrates excellent interpersonal, customer service, and communication skills.
     It is preferred, but not required, that the incumbent is currently enrolled at CSU Stanislaus with a major/minor in business administration, public administration or human resources.
    

    Required Qualifications:

     Undergraduate students must be registered/enrolled in a minimum of six (6) Fall/Spring units.
     Post-baccalaureate students in a graduate program must be registered in a minimum of four (4) Fall/Spring units.

     Salary Range
    

     $15.50 per hour
