Are you an experienced HR professional willing to lead the HR support within the Cross School Initiatives Hub? The Cross School Initiative Hub is a new team providing a range a professional services support to key academic programmes within the University's Academic Division.
In this exciting new role, you will work across the Universities key academic programmes, taking responsibility for all areas of HR administration, supporting and enabling both daily operations and longer-term strategic aims with effective HR processes, whilst ensuring University policies and procedures are followed.
Working alongside professional staff within all programmes, you will bring together existing support staff in the programmes and from the Cross School Initiatives Hub to build resilience and provide a range of HR support services to the programmes and deliver a high quality, responsive service.
You will cover a full range of HR support including recruitment processes, HR policy and employment relations issues and contractual matters. You will be required to develop systems and processes as necessary to ensure they remain effective and fit for purpose.
Working alongside academic and professional services staff this is an opportunity to build resilience and create a high quality and responsive service for the University's high profile academic programmes.
You will be a key member of the new team, reporting to the Cross School Initiatives Hub Manager, and will also operationally report to the HR Business Partner (Academic Division).
The University is supportive of hybrid working, where some work is undertaken on University premises and some in a remote working environment. The aim of our approach is to enable as many staff as possible to work in a hybrid way if they wish and where their role allows. The role requires some days per week onsite (exact days to be negotiated).
