Are you looking for a busy administrative role and have an interest in either gaining or expanding your knowledge of Human Resources? If so, we have just the role for you.

We are looking for a full-time HR Assistant to join our HR Operations Team. The Team provides a key and significant service within the University (circa 2100 employees) and we are looking for someone who has proven high level administrative skills, is a proactive and clear communicator and has a keen eye for detail.

In this role you will:

What are we looking for:

  • A clear understanding of the need to give excellent and proactive customer service.
  • The ability to plan, prioritise and organise a large workload and enjoy the challenge of working to deadlines.
  • An excellent eye for detail and an ability to write clearly and grammatically.
  • Experience of using HR and Payroll databases, or equivalent, on a regular basis.
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft suite of packages (Word, Outlook, Excel).
  • Previous experience in a busy workplace environment.

    Previous experience of working in an HR environment is not required as full training and support will be given.

    This role is eligible for agile working (working from home) for part of the week once formal training has been completed.
