THE ROLE

We are looking for a full time Hotel Front Office Attendant to join our growing hotel team. This will be a great opportunity to work within a strong team to develop your career in hospitality.

As the first point of contact for guests you will deliver a high level of customer service through:

  • Ensuring all aspects of front office reception run smoothly

  • Responding to accommodation enquiries, processing reservations and accounts

  • About You:

    You are someone who believes the core of hospitality is customer service. You are great at multi-tasking, have excellent communication skills and can think on your feet to solve problems. To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Previous front office, customer service and/or sales experience (within hospitality industry preferred)

  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.

  • Well-presented with keen attention to detail and cultural sensitivity/awareness

  • Strong time management and problem-solving skills

  • Cash handling and transaction processing experience

  • Proficient in the use of the Microsoft Office Suite of programs and knowledge of Opera Property Management System (desirable)

  • This role requires successful applicants to undergo a Criminal History Check and must have the right to work in Australia.
