Health & Wellbeing First Contact Worker (REDEPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY) Student Wellbeing Service

Location: Lincoln Salary: From £26,444 pro rata Please note, this post is permanent and part time at 22.5 hours per week. Closing Date: Wednesday 15 May 2024 Interview Date: Thursday 23 May 2024 Reference: SA9287A

We have a great opportunity for a Health & Wellbeing First Contact Worker to join our award winning and well-established Student Wellbeing Team.

The Student Wellbeing Centre offers support, advice or guidance with any challenges or difficulties students may face during their academic studies. Our support to students includes assisting with concerns around disability, specific learning differences, mental health or medical conditions, as well as anything which may cause emotional or psychological distress. We help to support students throughout their time at University, in addition to supporting them as they transition into University life.

You will coordinate first tier wellbeing support, to ensure that all students have appropriate advice and guidance (to include low level interventions or referrals), onwards to second tier support, ensuring that our students' emotional wellbeing is at the forefront of our work. You will also design and deliver promotional material to help raise awareness of key themes, support our Welcome Week strategy, and deliver key workshops throughout the year.

Please note that this post requires an Enhanced DBS check.

If you would like further information or an informal discussion about this exciting opportunity, please contact Tom Larken, Health and Wellbeing Co- ordinator, at [email protected].

This is a redeployment opportunity for colleagues who have been placed at risk of redundancy only.
