Head of Strategic Partnerships (at the rank of Administrative Assistant I) in the Faculty of Business and Economics (Ref.: 526686) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 15% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)

Applicants should possess a good first bachelor's degree, with relevant academic and professional training related to the areas of duties and/or higher academic qualifications with at least 15 years of relevant work experience in government, corporate public relations, or communication, including at least 10 years' experience in a supervisory role, preferably in a tertiary institution or a public organization. They should also have excellent corporate communication skill sets and strong network in government, business or media-related fields; deep knowledge of business landscape and management principles including strategic planning, leadership techniques and budgeting; outstanding written and verbal communication skills to interact effectively with individuals at all levels of the Faculty; excellent time management skills; and the ability to present ideas and information in a concise and organized manner; and the ability to interact effectively with individuals at all levels of the Faculty and external stakeholders as well as to work well both independently and as part of a team.

The appointee will design, develop and implement comprehensive engagement strategy and initiatives that strengthen relationships with external stakeholders inclusive of government and corporates in Hong Kong and Mainland. He/She will maintain close communication and liaison with stakeholders; manage publicity and engagement; coordinate with external partners and key stakeholders on various initiatives under the directive of the Faculty's senior management; and perform other duties as assigned.
