Head of Admissions Salary: Grade 9 (£56,021 - £64,914 p.a. depending on experience)

This role will be based on the University campus, with scope for it to be undertaken in a hybrid manner.

Reporting to the Director of Admissions, you will be responsible for the delivery of the University's Admissions Operations, leading a team of approximately 200 admissions colleagues. Working alongside the Deputy Director of Admissions you will be a key member of the University Senior Admissions Leadership Team which forms part of an Integrated Student Recruitment capability working across Marketing, Educational Engagement and International.

You will be responsible for leading the admissions service across all cohorts, taught and research, supporting the University's ambition to grow in both lifelong and digital learning. You will lead and develop the team through a period of significant people, process and technology change as the University's Admissions Service continues to evolve within an integrated recruitment and applicant centric environment. A key element of the role will be matrix and collaborative working with colleagues from Educational Engagement, Marketing, and International Office to deliver the strategic priorities for Integrated Student Recruitment.

You will build effective relationships within and beyond the University, taking a highly collaborative approach to planning and delivery of University Student Recruitment. You will engage the Admissions Management Team to optimise our service to achieve the University's student recruitment objectives, ensuring that the Admissions teams are agile in response to the changing external environment and evolving applicant and staff needs, informed by best practice in the sector and beyond You will enable colleagues to benefit from effective training and opportunities to broaden their experience within Integrated Student Recruitment, supporting them to work flexibly across the Admissions Service, developing skills and capabilities to meet current and future needs.
