We are currently seeking a part-time Hardship Fund Assessor to work within the University's Finance team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for processing applications to the Falmouth University Hardship Fund for students. This will involve using IT to process the applications and liaising with the students to support them in their applications. An understanding of the financial challenges facing students would be an advantage but not essential.
You will be supported by the Student Finance Manager and Student Funding Advisor as well as the wider finance team.

About YouThe ideal candidate for this role will have experience of providing customer facing, welfare and advisory support and ideally experience of working in a higher education environment. You will have an understanding of the challenges students face financially whilst having the ability to have difficult conversations with applicants in respect of hardship, signposting to alternative support as necessary.

This is a part-time, 17 hours a week position to be worked across Monday- Friday. This post will be based at the Falmouth campus and working from home for part of the week is an option.
