This role will be based on the University campus, with scope for it to be undertaken in a hybrid manner. We are also open to discussing flexible working arrangements.
Are you an excellent creative, well experienced in digital design and content production? Can you work confidently and collaboratively with others to deliver creative solutions to challenging briefs? Would you like to join a team of multi-disciplined designers within a focused, high performing in-house team to develop and implement a bold new University brand?
The Communications and Engagement team is driven by the University's strategy. This strategy is rooted in our desire to make a difference in the world. It sets a blueprint for a values-driven university. One that harnesses expertise in research and education to help shape a better future for humanity, working through collaboration to tackle inequalities, benefit society and drive change.
The team brings together external campaigns, research promotion, digital, internal and student communications, brand management and design expertise.
You will be a graphic or digital designer with substantial experience of successfully developing and delivering creative campaigns across multiple executions including animation and video editing. You will be a proficient user of the Adobe Creative Cloud suite of apps; Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, Premiere and associated tools. You will be flexible and collaborative in your approach and possess strong interpersonal skills with the ability to articulate design decisions to a range of stakeholders.
You'll join the Creative team at an exciting time, as we look to define a new brand for the University and implement across a wide variety of campaigns and audience groups to support our ambitious 10-year strategy.
